Shopping In Hawaii
Who doesn’t love souvenirs? Even if you don’t have room to pack a gift back to every friend, neighbor and family member, you must find room to store away a little reminder of your trip. Here are four popular shopping venues.
Ko Olina resort – The Ko Olina resort is west of Waikiki. The resort spans 43 acres and has a host of activities. But you have some serious shopping to do! The Ward Center spans 4 blocks of apparel, jewelry, music, books, home furnishings and specialty gifts. The Ward Center even holds regular entertainment events such as storytelling and line dancing.
Asia & Polynesia – If you’re interested in authentic Polynesian shopping head to the Polynesian Cultural Center. They offer products that range from handcraft to museum-quality. At the cultural center you can purchase a hand-woven basket, hand-carved woodcrafts and modern gifts with that Polynesian flair.
For Asian gifts, Chinatown in Honolulu is where you want to go. Inside Chinatown you can find an indoor flea market with more than 30 shops. You can find prints, fabrics, furniture and more. You’re destined to find the perfect reminder of your island adventure.

Find Good Coffee – If you’re a coffee fan from any part of the world, you’ve heard of Kona coffee. Kona coffee is only grown on the west side of the Big Island. The growers will swear the delicate Kona coffee taste is largely derived from the unique and lush location.

Hawaii shopping is almost a delicacy in and of itself. Hawaii’s vast area of
centers, malls and specialty stores will delight even the most spendthrift
traveler. And don’t forget that you can always ship your purchases
home.
