Wining and Dining In Hawaii... Where To Go

Dinning out is a favorite past time of many a traveler. Despite taste differences, everyone is bound to find a favorite on the islands of Hawaii. In fact, there are so many choices that you could get a bit overwhelmed. You don’t need to worry about where to go when dining in Hawaii. Regardless of your choice, you will get what you are after, a true island experience.

They offer delicious cuisine and fabulous entertainment. And who will forget the breathtaking sunset while you enjoy a glass of wine on the deck?

Depending on where your cruise travels, you may be awed by the lights of Hawaii’s big cities. Most cruises offer multi-course meals with cocktails. Dinner cruise packages vary in price and length. And who can visit and not attend a Luau buffet? Luau buffet packages offer a variety of activities. A full-service deluxe Luau buffet package begins with a greeting with a fresh flower Lei. Following is the local Mai Tai (providing you’re of age) and drink coupons for the rest of the evening. You are then seated at the prime location at whichever venue you are attending.

Table service is provided rather than buffet dinning and evening activities include arts and crafts, storytelling, Hawaiian games, a royal court procession and various ceremonies.

Just ask for what you want in a restaurant and it exists somewhere in Hawaii. Each of the islands carries a variety of American and Hawaiian cuisine. Maui and Oahu have the widest variety of restaurants with Asian, European, Fusion, Latin American, Luaus, North African, Seafood/Steak and Vegetarian. Whew! · Bali Hai – The dinning room is open air and offers a beautiful view of the Hanalei Bay. This is where to dine if you want to experience “tropical” Hawaii.

If you are still unsure of where to dine, no need to fret. Once you arrive strike-up a conversation with an island local. With their familiarity with the area they will probably be able to give you a few pointers or suggestions for a truly great dinning experience.
