Waimea Valley is open from 10am – 5:30pm and prices range from $3.95-$19.95/person.

Take a Submarine Tour – A submarine tour provides a close-up view of magnificent coral reefs, wonderful sea creatures and underwater gardens. Hawaiian waters are crystal clear and add to the underwater exploration. Depending on which tour your take, you may even see a sunken ship or airplane. Tours start at $84 and go up from there.

The park offers close-up views of Sea Lions (including a Seal Lion swim), a Sea Turtle feeding pond, Penguins, a bird sanctuary, Hawaiian Ray encounter and the world’s only known Wholphin. There is something for everyone here. General admission park prices range from $23.95-$29.95/person.

Do Some Island Hopping – Island hopping is a popular activity and flights are available about every half-hour. Island hopping gives you a chance to experience the flair & flavor each island offer without needing to book another complete vacation. It is recommended not to island hop if you only have a week to visit.

But, if your stay is lengthier, island hopping is a great way to get the “whole experience.” Prices per person, one-way, vary from $39-$89 depending on time of year and airline. Actual airtime between the islands is only about 20 min. If you are definitely planning on island hopping during your stay, look into scheduling your island hopping flights as you book your main flight. You may get a significant price break!
