What You Need To Know About Salvador Brazil...
Things You Must Know About Salvador If You're Planning a Trip There
Salvador is on the northeast coast of Brazil and is the capital of the state of Bahia. The climate is tropical with warm temperatures and high humidity throughout the year. March is the hottest month and you should expect temperatures varying between 75ºF and 86ºF. July is the coolest month and temperatures range from about 70ºF to 79ºF. There is quite a lot of rain in Salvador, mostly of which falls between May and January. Because the weather is consistently warm, it does not matter too much when you take your vacation in Salvador, but you will avoid most of the rain if you go in February, March or April.
Salvador has two sections, the upper and lower parts, and a giant elevator called Elevador Lacerda connects them. If you take a trip on it, you will see fantastic views over the city.
There are festivities in June and the carnival is celebrated throughout July, August and September.
Try Itapua Golf Club if you fancy a round of golf or Mercado Modelo if you like browsing flea markets. The island of Itaparica can be reached from Salvador by ferry and hosts the Sul America Open Tennis competitions. You can spend the day chilling out and exploring its sandy shores.
Salvador is surrounded by beaches. You might want to avoid them
at the weekend when they get extremely crowded. Also, keep an eye
on your possessions when on the beach since there are often thieves
lurking about. Porto da Barra is one of the prettiest beaches in
Salvador. You will find clear water and sporting activities.
